2021 QuietKat Ranger E-Bike

QuietKat’s Ranger is built for challenging terrain – there’s no denying it. The combination of Kenda Juggernaut tires, upgraded cargo rack, battery power, and rear hub mid-drive motor system make the Ranger a great option for an all-terrain eBike. And with the opportunity to adjust the dropout for a single-speed drivechain, mechanical disc brakes, and a 120mm front coil suspension, the Ranger becomes a ready renaissance man of the road.

The Ranger is on the heavy side for the lineup, weighing in at 74 lbs – adequate for a rugged-style bike that can handle a load capacity of up to 325 lbs. QuietKat also provided lots of options for battery, seat post suspension, and frame size.

QuietKat’s additional battery bundle option will significantly extend distances though the extra juice will set you back $584.10 – and if you’re looking at options for different sizes of riders, the Kinekt Suspension Seatpost Upgrade will set you back as much as $270 USD. Frame sizes come in the 15.5”, 17”, and 19” frames and do not cost extra.

The QuietKat Ranger can be purchased for $2,799 – 3,099 USD / $3,745.96 – 3,744.82 CAD, depending on your choice of motor and accessories.

2021 QuietKat Ranger 5.0 E-Bike

Meet the entry-level version of QuietKat’s Ranger model. QuietKat’s goal in manufacturing the Ranger 5.0 was to create a more accessible model by simplifying the drivetrain and motor while still retaining the trademark features of a QuietKat eBike. And by the looks of it, they’ve done a decent job.

Kenda Juggernaut 4” fat tires grace the frame of the Ranger 5.0, along with an integrated long-range 10.4AH battery that is still punchy up to the 40th mile. Despite the single-speed feature, pedal-assist was given ten levels to make the commute that much more breezy.

And should you wish to accessorize, QuietKat has a series of kits to suit your fancy – whether you’re taking the eBike fishing, hunting, or just for a recreational cruise with the family.

Other specs for the Ranger 5.0 include a nice weight of 61 lbs and a ‘one-size-fits-all’ 18” frame.

2021 QuietKat Warrior E-Bike

When it comes to fun in the sun, the Warrior gets the job done. This mid-drive sibling to the Ranger comes with the QuietKat trademark options of a 750-watt or a 100-watt motor – and is considered a Class 2 electric bike with the 1000w motor option.

Should you need to do away with some of the power to comply with limitations in your area, disconnect the throttle, and you become immediately Class-1 compliant.

Additional specs of the Warrior are the 8-speed gear system (compare to the Ranger’s 7-speed system) and slightly heavier weight of 79 lbs – though, with a mid-drive motor, the weight is considered decent for the class of bike.

The Warrior also sports a color LED display and integrated pannier rack on top of the mechanical disc brakes, 120mm front suspension fork, and general penchant for outdoor fun.

Like the Ranger, the Warrior also comes with a list of potential upgrades and accessories to make the eBike uniquely yours, including 17” and 19” frame options.

The Warrior runs at a selling price of $3,899 – 4,199 USD / $4,711.34 – 5,074.05 CAD, with the flux in price being due to your choice of relevant upgrades.

2021 QuietKat Apex E-Bike

The QuietKat Apex is an eBike that brings power versatility to the table. New for 2021 is a size small to accommodate riders under 5’6”. The Apex is also considered a Class-2 eBike with the 1500w motor. Similar to the Warrior, simply disconnect the throttle to immediately become Class 1 compliant.

The Apex also features an inverted 150mm air suspension, Tektro 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, and the 4.5” Kenda JKuggernaut tires that make off-roading so delightful. And if you’re worried about the bike’s longevity, don’t – all batteries, motors, and displays are fully waterproof.

At 71 lbs, the Apex is in the more competent weight level for bikes of its class – though whether the ‘top quality components’ are worth the extra bucks is yet to be seen. QuietKat also offers the usual list of treats when it comes to accessorizing and upgrading seat suspension, color, and outfitting for adventure.

Frame options come in 15.5”, 17” and 19”, and the Apex’s price sits at an even $4,699 – 5,299 USD / $5,677.50 – 6,402.44 CAD, depending on your choice of motor.

2021 QuietKat Sherpa E-Bike

The QuietKat Sherpa is based on the Villager but features a longer wheelbase and an integrated rear rack to make commutes that much easier. It also has standard 203mm mechanical disc brakes, a premium RST coil suspension fork, and Kenda Juggernaut 3” tires to guarantee that you won’t get stuck on your way home for dinner.

The Sherpa also takes the stage with the lowest standover height in the QuietKat fleet, making this ride excellent for individuals needing that extra accessibility. Mudguards, a dual kickstand, and a wet weight of 65 lbs make this bike a tad more convenient than the Ranger and Warrior, and with the adjustable seat post that provides 16”-19” of frame size, you’ll be sharing your ride with your kids.

The Sherpa is available for $3,399 USD / $4,107.33 CAD.

2021 QuietKat Villager E-Bike

Enter the QuietKat equivalent of an urban commuter.

QuietKat designed the Villager to combat the needs of city riding – and given that pavement is slightly more kind than pasture, slight modifications have been made to acclimatize a rougher bike to a more refined culture.

The Villager features Tektro mechanical disc brakes for a sufficient braking system and an RST 110mm coil suspension fork and Kenda street-tread tires for a smooth, grippy ride. QuietKat has also outfitted this eBike with a very standard 7-speed drivetrain, and a 500w motor to seal the deal – although it would have been nice to see additional options for the motor, as was the case for the Ranger and the Warrior.

QuietKat estimates the range of this eBike to be upwards of 40 miles, with the Villager’s price sitting solid at $2,799 – 2,899 USD / $3,381.49 – 3,502.30 CAD.

2021 QuietKat Ridgerunner E-Bike

Labeled as ‘the number one electric hunting bike,’ QuietKat built the Ridgerunner with the mountains in mind – and it shows. With the upgrade to the 1000w motor, you’re looking at a very pretty 160 Nm of torque, with speeds over 30 mph on flat terrain. This, paired with a FireLink suspension system (RockShox Monarch RL) and 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, guarantees complete control over almost any terrain.

The CST roly-poly 4.8” tires make a quick meal of any mile – going up or down – and with a decent wet weight of 69 lbs and a load capacity of 300 lbs, you can even take your meal with you for later.

The Ridgerunner also features a thumb throttle that places this eBike as a Class 2. Should you need to comply with class restrictions, simply disable the throttle to immediately become Class 1 compliant.

The Ridgerunner comes in 17” and 19” frame options, with the potential for an extra battery bundle – though it will set you $737.10 USD back.

The Sherpa has an MSRP of $6,499 USD / $7,849.17 CAD.

2021 QuietKat Ripper Kids E-Bike

Meet the littlest guy of the QuietKat family, the Ripper. Sized specifically for riders under 5’^” tall, the Ripper – like the Ranger – comes with the complete performance component package, including a coil suspension fork with 100 millimeters of suspension travel.

Kenda 4” tires and an integrated pannier rear rack make this little bud the stylish yet convenient member of QuietKat’s fleet.

Other features include 2-piston mechanical disc brakes, a throttle that can be disabled if needing less energy output, and a neat wet weight of 54 lbs.

The Ripper comes in the colors Sandstone and Veil’s Poseidon Dry Camo and can be purchased for $2,499 – 2,599 USD / $3018.03 – 3,138.80 CAD.

2021 QuietKat Voyager E-Bike

When it comes to portability, QuietKat’s Voyager takes the cake. This folding eBike is perfect for apartment dwellers – or avid outdoorsmen looking to save a bit of extra space in their trunks. Beyond the folding frame and steering column, the Voyager also sports a 750w hub motor and an SRAM 7-speed drivetrain for ease of commute.

Other features include the 20-inch fat tires and QuietKat’s performance-level component package, consisting of a coil-sprung 100mm suspension fork, and two-piston mechanical disc brakes with 203mm rotors.

The Voyager is a Class-2 eBike. Simply disconnect the throttle if needing to comply with stricter class compliance, and you can be on your way anywhere – up to 48 miles.

2021 QuietKat Jeep Gladiator E-Bike

1500w Peak Output is how I will lead into this because it’s an impressive spec for this range. It also gives a good idea as to the quality of what is an exclusive – and very swanky – ride. QuietKat partnered up with automotive manufacturer Jeep, and the two put their heads together to create a full suspension beast called the Gladiator – and just like its namesake, it can handle just about anything.

On top of the Tektro 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes and QK Custom 150mm Inverted Air Fork front suspension with RockShox Monarch RL 150mm at the rear, QuietKat also made sure that this eBike could grip any terrain with the installation of 4.8” fat tires.

The Gladiator also sports a wet weight of 70 lbs – not bad for what you’re getting – and a standard load capacity of 300 lbs. And with a range of up to 58 miles, the Gladiator is set to handle anything above or below sea level.

It is worth noting that the Gladiator’s upgrade to the 1000w motor will cost an additional $150 – and for what you’re getting, it’s worth the extra nibble out of your wallet.
