When company owner Murray McDonald couldn’t find an eBike with the features he wanted at the price he wanted, he decided to make his own. We’re so glad he did because when it comes to a bike built on the stubbornness of a Canadian, MJM stands out for high-quality models, fair pricing, and the list of additional accessories provided as a perk to each eBike by the brand.

2021 MJM SO20

Known by MJM as the bike that does it all, the SO20 is a solid addition to the showroom.

The signature MJM copper frame features a simple top tube that guarantees all the support you need for more strenuous routes. With the minimalist ergonomics, it is easy to see how so many have fallen for the staple choice of MJM’s fleet.

With a relatively standard weight of 59.8 lbs, the SO20 doesn’t necessarily break records for lightness – but what it doesn’t have in weight, the CO20 provides in battery longevity. The range is excellent, boasting up to 58mi / 93km on a single charge with reasonably conservative use.

MJM’s CO20 is available in one size, in their trademark copper – would we have it any other way? – and sits at a (very fair) buying price of $2,404.08 USD / $2,899 CAD.

2021 MJM FB20

Say hello to MJM’s most compact and portable model, the FB20. Designed to provide quality at a fraction of the price (and size), the FB20 is a space-conscious eBike that supplies the client’s need to store into smaller spaces without compromising on comfort or performance.

Key features include – but are not limited to – the neat 20” tires, MJM’s signature adjustable ‘comfort saddle’, and the nifty alloy telescopic folding stem and headset combo.

The FB20’s battery is a comfy 350w Hub Motor, built less for speed and more for the stereotypical space-conscious urban commuter. That being said, it’s lighter than other models of the fleet, weighing in at a pert 53.4 lbs.

Pricing sits at a very reasonable $2,096.44 USD / $2,529 CAD, and comes in – you guessed it – that gorgeous copper tone we are coming to know and love.

2021 MJM CR20

A swift and stylish addition to the MJM fleet, the CR20 uses the smooth-welded down tube (very reminiscent of a road bike) to house the sizeable 48v 14 AH Battery. This cinches its silhouette, creating a minimalist design that allows the CR20 to sneak subtly among its more traditional siblings when en route.

The additional curvature of the top tube (as well as the thicker design of the frame and the fully rigid fork) guarantee a ride that provides both endurance and high ball of a time on even the most challenging of trips.

The CR20 comes in the MJM signature copper and buys in at a comparable $2,527.16 USD / $3,049 CAD, sans shipping fees.

2021 MJM MT20

If off-roading is what gets you going, look no further than MJM’s MT20. Designed for rugged terrain, the MT20 guns for the hills – and we both know you don’t want to climb back down those, so why not add this capable model to do the work for you?

The MT20 sports a complete suspension system, with Suntour XCM on the front and EXA Form RE A5 suspension in the rear of the eBike. Internal cable routing gives the bike a more clean appearance, and although the bike weighs 62.6 lbs, it makes up for the extra weight with the promise of power and range.

Speak of the devil, this bike caps in at a stunning 58mi / 93km, making it comparable in range with the SO20 – though quite a bit more capable when it comes to the nitty-gritty bits of the road. And with the Buchel lights and rear alloy cargo rack, the MT20 gives a whole new meaning to the term ‘versatile’.

2021 MJM RTF20

2021 MJM RTF20 Key Specifications

As a motorcycle lover, the elegant lines and unbeatable aesthetic of the RTF20 make me a very happy camper – and who wouldn’t at the sight of a baddy like this on the road?

This moto-inspired cruiser is a razzle-dazzle original, with copper tones, MJM large motorcycle headlight a distinct chopper-style fork that brings life to the proverbial party.

The RTF20 also compliments the moto-theme with internal routing, MJM’s ‘comfort saddle’, and an impressive range up to 58mi / 93km (similar to the MT20 and the SO20).

While the RTF20 might look like a motorcycle, the motor is blissfully quiet and MJM provides us with an eBike with some solid specs. Features include some front suspension, trademark leather grips, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, and a hefty wet weight of 75.4 lbs.

Don’t let the weight scare you off; with a battery capable of generating one of the longest distances in the fleet and a 500w hub motor backing you up, you’re guaranteed to get in whatever travels you need and then some.

2021 MJM ST21

MJM’s most popular model, the ST21 is an all-around eBike that also provides the option of easy accessibility. This is the ride you use to coast to the library with style, and if that library is 46.5km away, even better – you can make it there and home again on a single charge.

Voted as MJM’s most capable step-thru eBike, the ST21’s elegant top tube and signature Comfort Saddle make for an easy, breezy glide through town. Should you decide to hit the trails, the ST21 proves it’s capability, providing SR Suntour Nex suspension at 50mm travel.

Other features include internal routing of cables to keep the copper tone of the frame unbroken, a slightly higher handle for a more comfortable, upright position, and a total bike weight of 60.3 lbs.

2021 MJM MTF21

Enter the beast.

Made in a country where snow is celebrated, the MTF21 eats up powdery trails as easily as dirt and pavement. Capable of holding up to 330 lbs and travelling 93km on a single charge, I mean this in the very best way when I say that the MTF21 is the tank of the fleet.

Tough 4-inch Kenda Juggernaut tires require an equally capable suspension, and MJM has bestowed the MTF21 with RST Guide 26″, capable of 95mm of travel.

Other features include a Lookin Selle Royal SR saddle, an RST Guide fork, a 3 Amp charger, that dang catchy copper tone, and the ability to hunt where the ATV’s can’t go.

The MTF21 can be purchased for $2,649.51 USD / $3,199 CAD.

2021 MJM TRF21

So you want an industrial workhorse to shuttle yourself and your brilliant inventions around town. You want an eTrike that can hold your recent splurges, plus a couple of grandkids. Meet MJM’s TRF21 – the only trike in their showroom, and a darn good one.

The Kenda Gigas 4” tires make short work of road or trail, and the front basket is extremely convenient for a bag – or pooch. This model also sports a heavier-duty frame than its predecessor, and a battery that is stowed neatly under the MJM Easy-Flip comfort saddle.

Other features include the ability to travel 93km on a single charge – impressive, considering the weight of the eTrike is 89.8 lbs. Hydraulic disc brakes keep this baby nimble and accurate, and ready to rumble.
