The 2020 Indian Springfield Dark Horse is what you get when you take a classic bagger touring cruiser, strip off the windshield, paint it matte black, and give it a bigger heart. Powered by a 1900cc v-twin dubbed the Thunder Stroke 116, it’s not known how many horses are hidden under the cam covers, but 126 lbs-ft of torque will get you up and rolling pretty dang quick.

The Springfield Dark Horse shares all the same features of the regular Springfield model, namely the remote hard locking saddlebags, keyless ignition, TPMS sensors in both wheels, and full front and back ABS. The Thunder Stroke 116 also shares the same rear cylinder deactivation technology that the base Springfield has, so if you’re traveling very slowly or the bike detects stop-and-go situations such as city traffic, you’ll save your ears as well as fuel.
