The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory Returns For 2020
Contents
The Aprilia Tuono family of motorcycles take its DNA directly from the RSV4 line of superbikes, but takes the power and presence of the RSV4 and reworks it into something different entirely. The Tuono is arguably one of the greatest street motorcycles on the market, taking the race-fuelled DNA from Aprilia’s sports heritage but re-tuning it into a practical—but no less thrilling—performance motorcycle for everyday use.
The 2020 Tuono V4 1100 Factory is the more exclusive version of the acclaimed Tuono V4 RR, featuring a number of upgrades and improvements that take the regular Tuono but turn it up to eleven. The result is a potent rocket that’s powered by a beastly Aprilia longitudinal 65 degree, V4, 4-stroke engine that produces an intimidating 175 horsepower, with 89 lb-ft of peak torque, all on lightweight aluminum dual beam chassis that weighs only 407 lbs dry.
The features that separate the Factory model from the standard RR model include RSV4 inspired parts and components, such as carbon fiber body work and details, and the class-leading semi-active electronic suspension from Öhlins, which intuitively adjust your suspension settings depending on your own personal riding characteristics.
In terms of electronics, the Tuono V4 1100 Factory has it all, including traction control, wheelie control, launch control, cruise control, ABS, a pit lane speed limiter, and multiple riding modes.
For 2020, the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 is available with one color scheme, Atomic Racer black. Prices start from $18,999.

Utmost Electronics
The OBTi (Objective Based Tuning Interface), visible on the 4.3-inch color TFT dashboard of the Aprilia Tuono V4, makes the settings intuitive. The operating logic of the new OBTi is based on the situations of use and the sensations the rider has. The system allows the rider to customize suspension calibration in every single situation in which the suspension system is stressed such as the acceleration and braking phase for example, in order to have the ideal settings in each of these areas.
