Get ready for an adventure. KTM set the dates for its U.S. Adventure Rider Rally and the Canadian rally. The motorcycle company has hosted this event for 15 years, and it does so at various locations around the world. The 2019 rally will take place in Breckenridge, Colorado. If you don’t have much going September 13 to 15, consider signing up for the rally. It’s a great way to explore some extreme mountainous terrain.
If you’re closer to British Columbia than Colorado, consider attending the Canadian rally at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland. The event takes place from September 26 to 28, and the terrain should be just as, if not even more, challenging and beautiful.
These rallies are a great place to demo KTM’s latest models and discuss the bikes with the companies technicians. Attendees will enjoy a dinner and event where they’ll get up close and personal with the new KTM 790 Adventure. KTM welcomes all adventure riders and wants to see people of all levels of riding proficiency. The rally will have various trails and terrain that will suit all kinds of skill levels.
The U.S. rally has a new format, with an overnight camping option followed by a long 100 to 150-mile ride. The next day is another riding excursion followed by an event dinner. The Canadian rally also has a new format that includes a two-day navigation rally ride for bikes over 600cc. There are two options for the ride. One is more hardcore off-road focused while the other is more of a long adventure touring ride.
Both events should be fantastic, and if you want an up-close look at the new KTM adventure bikes in the environment they were designed and built for then you should consider going.
