Triumph Australia has announced the dates for the annual Rat Rally, while BMW Motorrad Australia has announced its 2016 dates for the GS and GS Enduro rallies.
The annual Triumph Rat Rally will be held in Australia’s best mountain roads from March 11-13, based at Jindabyne Station Resort.
Triumph claims it will be their biggest rally yet, with more rides scheduled each day, and more demo rides scheduled from Friday afternoon and all day Saturday including the opportunity to test the new Bonneville Street Twin and T120 range.
The entertainment line up will include ’80s rock cover bands, comedians and stunt riders.
Triumph Australia’s technical manager Cliff Stovall will also be around to talk with customers on the new range of models for 2016.
Special guest visitors include Sherri Jo Wilkins, a global motorcycle adventure rider who has more recently been discovering the Australian outback on her Tiger 800 XC.
Meanwhile, Professional photography Danny ‘Wilko’ Wilkinson will offer an exclusive professional photography service for customers who will also be able to download their images post event.
There will also be a show and shine event.
This year Triumph riders are invited bring their friends, regardless of what they ride.
Tickets are just $150 and include meals, entertainment, a commemorative T-shirt and more.

Meanwhile, the BMW GS Safari Enduro will run from Streaky Bay, South Australia, to Broken Hill, NSW, from July 24-30 and the GS Safari will be run in South East Queensland from November 6-11.
Registrations open on March 29 for the Enduro and August 9 for the GS Safari.
Both safaris are supported with mechanical, medical and luggage carrying backup.
